9:45pm (Monday still)
Well I didn't go to sleep yet. Instead I'm multi-tasking and watching True Detective while researching for our trip to Portugal this fall. Trip planning is a great distraction from scary TV.
So now that I've digested my night cap, I feel completely satiated and content. I actually have a ton of energy and am tempted to stay up even later. I think the heavy fat content at night is very beneficial as your body unwinds from the day. I think I'll stay up a little later, chug some more lemon water, and hit the hay to a blissful sleep. Heres hoping.
7:46am (Tuesday)
Well I slept like the dead. You know that feeling when you get into bed and you feel like your body is made of bricks? I had that. I also had some crazy dreams. But I slept well and feel thinner and rested. It's a little rainy and overcast out so I'm blaming my lackadaisical energy on the weather. I'm also toying with the idea of having caffeine this morning. May this be my only hardship decision this morning.
Reflecting on my day yesterday, I think I did a pretty good job. It helps that I sipped the juices so they seemed more sustainable. The hardest point for me was the pre- and during-dinner time, but the cashew milk really helped.
My overall rating of the juices? The morning juices were a bit sweet for my taste, but they seemed to get better throughout the day. Am I relieved that I only juiced for one day? Yes. Would I do it again? Probably, but not for a while. In the meantime, I'll be happy to support my local juice boutique and dabble in the Rock You and Rose juices.
